 The VOICE OF TRUTH by Casting Crowns absolutely and fully relates to Blended Families. The 'giants' in society, as well as the 'enemy' himself speak to step-families, telling them 'they will never win'.   But the VOICE OF TRUTH tells us a different story. This song is POWERFUL. If anyone right now is reading this and in a step-family, simply focus on the wonder of this song, ask God to let the message of this song flow in your heart. Yes...the challenges that both step-children and step-parents face often 'appear' to be too big to handle. Yet GOD CAN handle it. Trust Him. Listen to HIS VOICE OF TRUTH calling out to you. You can do this because you know the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and He wants you to be happy. He is a God of second chances. If you believe He is your Savior, there is no giant too big, and few situations that you can be told 'you'll never win'.

This video indeed has a relationship to blended families. This is a special love - even when it isn't easy.  God alone is the REDEEMER in this video and in the Hoyt story. We often play the Hoyt video in our conferences because it grabs the heart and soul of all who watch. This Father, shows the unconditional 'agape' love that our Redeemer, Jesus Christ shows us. In 'step-family' situations, it is sometimes hard.  We must "look up" to our Redeemer to find the patience, love, forgiveness and perseverence to have the same joy in our race as a family. The Hoyt's are an inspiration to the world !
